Post Mother's Day Events

How 'bout that weather? Amiright?

I think we can all agree that the cancellation of Mother's day was well warranted, but we were very excited to get in to the meat of the racing season.

Once again, here are the upcoming events. If you can't make it to an event, please let your coach know ASAP.

Welland (May 18-19)

You will need a ride to the South Niagara Rowing Course for the 2 day event. Please try to work out a carpool.

I have finished making the entries, but will not submit the payment until tomorrow. If you are not able to make it next week, please let me know immediately. (Lauren, I know that you can't.) The entries look like this so far:

Event 03: Jr Womens 63kg 4+
Event 05: Junior Mens 4x
Event 09: Senior Womens 63kg 1x
Event 11: Junior Womens 63kg 8+
Event 13: Senior Mens 72kg 1x
Event 14: Junior Mens 2x
Event 36: Junior Mens 4+


London (May 25)

Seems as though some of you are very excited about this. Since it involves traveling and a few more logistical issues, how practices and racing go in the coming weeks will greatly determine the likely hood of participation in this regatta. So please continue to demonstrate a good attitude and we will try to make this happen. Mackenzie's Dad, Craig has already volunteered some space in a van and a tent to set up as base for the event, so a big THANK YOU for that. If any other parents are able to help with the logistics of this all, it would be greatly appreciated. A bus is another option, but we will work this out as we get closer. I already know Jill can not make it. If this regatta is a conflict for anyone else, please let your coach know. Crew availability will obviously determine entries in this event.


CSSRA Championships (Schoolboy) (May 31-June 2)

This is the 3 day event that concludes our rowing season. Crews from all over North America will be here to compete. It is only 3 weeks away!
